A to Z Challenge: D is for Debbie Mumm

Welcome to the last A to Z Blogging Challenge for this week.  In case you haven't heard of this yet, the idea is to blog (almost) every day in April, taking one day for each letter of the alphabet.  Since Sundays are exempt from posts, I won't be back with another one of these until Monday.

Get ready for another entire stashy-wish-list post.

D is for Debbie Mumm

Specifically, the Debbie Mumm kits from Mill Hill.

She has several different series of these kits, most of them the larger framed 7 x 7 square size.  However, there's also a series called Snowbells that are ornaments too.

My first Mill Hill was a kit called Silent Night that I bought to stitch up for a friend who collects nativities.  I was just getting back into cross stitch after being out of it for about 2 years.  So when the kit arrived and I saw beads, I went EEEK!!!!  But I enjoyed their designs so much, and since I was worried about beading because I'd never done it before, I ended up ordering one of the smaller ornament kits to make up for a family member who I knew wouldn't notice/care if I did something wrong.  And I enjoyed it so much, that now I'm a true Mill Hill fan.

Which brings me to the point of this point.  Have you SEEN the new Debbie Mumm Winter Chill kits from Mill Hill?

I must. have. them. all.

Seriously, I don't know if it's the colors, or the owl, or my thing for mugs or what.  These are definitely must-stitch (when my budget allows anyway, haha).

On a side and un-cross stitching note, Debbie Mumm also has some super cute fabric too, which I also have in my stash incidentally.

Anyway, that's it for this week.  Hope you enjoyed it and see you on Monday!

  2. Those are cute.
I never learned to do sewing crafts. Not well anyway. Which is a shame, as my mother used to be so good at making clothes and other things.
