A to Z Challenge: E is for Eat

Welcome to the first A to Z Blogging Challenge for this week.  In case you haven't heard of this yet, the idea is to blog (almost) every day in April, taking one day for each letter of the alphabet.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Now that Sunday is over, it's time to get back into the A to Z posts for the week.  Today's theme is:

E is for Eat More Candy

This is a Halloween design from Amy Beuecken Designs.  Although I have never stitched an Amy Beuecken Design before, I do have several including this one on my wish list.

Funnily enough, I don't decorate at all for Halloween, and I'm not big on the holiday as a whole now that I'm not a kid and am not dressing up anymore, but I seem to love Halloween patterns.  I really like the combination of colors and patterns in this design.  Oh, and the sentiment isn't bad either.  :) You can never have too much candy, especially chocolate (although my waistline wouldn't agree with that...)

Amy Beuecken has lots of other great designs, but knowing my penchant for holiday and seasonal patterns, I of course am also wishing for this Seasons pattern.  Her designs are cutesy, colorful and I love how they look graphically.  They remind me a lot of Barbara Ana and San Man Originals designs (two of my other favorite designers).

Hope you're ready to see more designs tomorrow!

  2. I'm passing through on the A to Z Challenge and seemed to have missed your blog on my first look at crafting blogs so sorry but better late than never :) Seems like a good & helpful theme reviewing other people's designs. Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace

  3. I get how you feel about Halloween - I myself am not 'into' the holiday itself at all, but I do love Halloween themed cross stitch patterns! And I always enjoy bright colours, so these hit a spot with me ^_^
